Delete your account

Three ways to ask

1. In the app: open your account menu (your initials at the top), then Delete my account, and press it again to say you are sure.
2. Signed in on the web: myfarmmetric.com/farm, then your account menu, then Delete my account.
3. By email: write to support@myfarmmetric.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Farmmetric account".

What is deleted, and when

We delete your sign-in and your personal details (your name, email and phone number) within 30 days of your request. Until then you can take it back from the same menu.

Your farm's records (fields, plantings, tasks, harvests, hours) belong to your farm and stay with it, because farms often must keep them for their state. If you are the farm admin, you can ask us to delete the whole farm: you then have 30 days to download its records before we delete them.

Backup copies are encrypted and kept for up to 7 years, then deleted. Something you delete stays in older copies until then, and is deleted again if a copy is ever restored.
